Williams Who Grew Up Listening to Z104 Will Perform His First Concert in Virginia since 2008
NORFOLK, VA – Pharrell Williams will headline WNVZ Z104’s 3rd Annual ShaggFest on June 7th at Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach. Featuring both national and local artists, in three short years, ShaggFest has become one of the biggest music festivals in the country. Headlining ShaggFest is a homecoming for Pharrell, who grew up listening to Z104.
Pharrell, a multiple Grammy-winning musician, is one of the biggest forces in music, fashion, and music production today. Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” are just two of Pharrell’s recent mega collaborations. His current album G I R L, featuring his hit single “HAPPY”, is currently #1 in the country.

Z104 is partnering with Live Nation for ShaggFest 2014. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 21, and doors will open at 8am on Saturday, June 7.
