Entercom names Phil Hoover VPMarket Manager of Entercom New Orleans

(Bala Cynwyd, PA) Phil Hoover has been named Vice President and Market Manager for the Entercom New Orleans cluster that includes stations WEZB-FM, WKZN-FM, WLMG-FM, WSMB-AM, WTKL-FM and WWL-AM. Previously, Hoover served as the Vice President and Market Manager of Entercom Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Before joining Entercom in May 2000, he had been the President of The Hoover Group Enterprises, Inc., a firm that provides electronic payment processing solutions and broadcast and communications industry consulting. Prior to that, he served as President and General Manager for the radio stations of Saga Communications in Iowa.

Entercom Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President-Sales, Deborah Kane noted, "Phil has done an extraordinary job for us in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
