Alan Kirshbom Named VP/Market Mgr. Entercom Austin; Michael Keck Named VP/Market Mgr. Entercom Milwaukee

(Bala Cynwyd, PA January 28, 2010) Alan Kirshbom has been named Vice President and Market Manager of Entercom’s Austin, Texas stations (KKMJ-FM, KAMX-FM, KJCE-AM) effective February 1, 2010.

Kirshbom has been with Entercom since 2001. He joined Entercom Milwaukee in 2004 as Director of Sales and was promoted to Vice President and Market Manager in 2005. Previously Alan served as Director of Sales in this market and also General Sales Manager of Entercom’s stations in New Orleans.

In making the announcement, Deborah Kane, Entercom’s Regional President, stated: “I am excited that Alan will be now leading our stations in Austin. Having worked with him in New Orleans, and knowing of what he and his team accomplished in Milwaukee I believe his leadership, team-building and experience within Entercom will be a valued addition to this operations”.

Kirshbom commented: “I am grateful to the Executive Leadership of Entercom for giving me the opportunity to make a difference in New Orleans, Milwaukee and now Austin! It is an honor for me to lead the Entercom Austin Team. We have three wonderful brands, driven by a group of ambitious and enthusiastic professionals. Radio’s brightest days are ahead of us, and I am confident that Entercom Austin will set a new standard of excellence. I can’t wait to get started.”

Michael Keck has been named Vice President and market Manager of Entercom’s Milwaukee stations (WMYX-FM, WXSS-FM, WSSP-AM) effective January 28, 2010 replacing Alan Kirshbom who moves to Entercom Austin.

Keck had previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Entercom’s Madison, WI stations from 2000-2003 and also as Vice President General Manager of Entercom’s stations in Kansas City from 2003-2007. Most recently Keck served in sales and management roles with Adams Outdoor and Clear Channel Outdoor.

In making this announcement, Weezie Kramer, Entercom’s Regional President, stated: “Having worked with Michael in both Madison and Kansas City I know his passion and commitment to staff and clients. With the strong brands and great team, plus experience with Entercom Michael will be a great part of the continued outstanding culture and winning team in Entercom Milwaukee”.

Keck commented: “I am excited to be back in the Entercom family, and be able to carry on the great work Alan has done in Milwaukee. I also look forward to being a part of the continued growth of our three strong brands, and working closely with the entire Milwaukee team as we drive sales and profit growth!”
