Entercom Names David Alpert and Herndon Hasty Vice President/Co-Market Managers of Kansas City Cluster

Bala Cynwyd, PA (July 17, 2007)  Entercom Communications (NYSE: ETM) announced that David Alpert and Herndon Hasty have each been named Vice President and Co-Market Manager of Entercom’s Kansas City, MO cluster effective July 17, 2007. Alpert will manage Entercom stations KMBZ-AM, KCSP-AM, KQRC-FM, The BUZZ, and KYYS-FM, while Hasty will be responsible for the performance of adult contemporary station KUDL-FM, country station The WOLF, and KXTR-AM. Both Alpert and Hasty have spent their entire careers in the radio broadcasting industry and have a long history the Kansas City Market.

Prior to joining Entercom, Alpert was the Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Media’s Kansas City stations KCFX-FM, KCJK-FM, KCMO-AM, KCMO-FM and the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network. He has held senior management positions at several leading broadcasters and has also owned and operated stations in both South Carolina and Florida. Alpert has worked in the radio broadcasting industry since 1981.

Hasty joins Entercom from Wilks Broadcasting, where he was Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Wilks’ Kansas City two adult contemporary and two country stations. Prior to joining Wilks Broadcasting, Hasty was Senior Vice President and Market Manager for CBS Radio’s Kansas City cluster. Hasty began his radio career in 1979 and has spent his entire career in the Kansas City market. Hasty is extremely involved in the Kansas City community and actively participates in several business, educational and charitable organizations.
