Wells Fargo Cause Campaign Generates Outstanding Response
Objective: Wells Fargo wanted to create a tie to the local Bay Area Community with a focus on education.
Solution: Entercom San Francisco developed a program that honored and awarded outstanding teachers throughout the Bay Area. Utilizing integrated assets, Entercom and Wells Fargo invited listeners to nominate a local teacher, creating goodwill in schools and among the community. Ten teachers were selected from all entries who were awarded a check for $1,000 each on the field at an Oakland A’s game. On air, online and social media directed listeners to a landing page where they could enter their favorite teacher’s name and story.
RESULTS: Over 300 listeners entered their favorite teacher’s name and story online, generating goodwill for Wells Fargo and an authentic connection to local schools and the community.
