Subaru Grows Market Share in Southern CA
Objective: When the Subaru dealers in Southern California were looking to increase brand perception and sales in the region, they turned to Entercom Los Angeles to help them spread the word and share the Subaru brand love.
Solution: Working in partnership with the client, Entercom Los Angeles designed a lifestyle campaign to showcase the active, fearless, and adventurous lifestyle of a Subaru driver. To help tell the story, Entercom enlisted popular radio personality Gina Grad. As a host on LA’s The Sound, Gina has a passionate fan base that follows her every move. Subaru gave Gina a Crosstrek to drive to work, to the beach and on all of her many adventures. Throughout the week, Gina shared her enthusiasm for the Subaru brand on-air with her fans, while pointing out the signature features of the Crosstrek. Gina also used social media to spread her love of the Subaru Crosstrek and show the many ways it fit into her active lifestyle.
RESULTS: Gina’s authentic connection to the Subaru brand resonated with her fans and has driven traffic into dealerships and increased sales in Southern California.
