BALA CYNWYD, PA – Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) announced today that Senior Vice President of Programming Pat Paxton has been promoted to President of Programming. Paxton has been with Entercom since 1999, first as Operations Manager for Star in Boston and then Entercom’s Director of AC and CHR programming. He was promoted to Entercom Senior Vice-President of Programming in 2001.

A graduate of the University of South Dakota, Pat Paxton was the National Program Director for Nationwide Communications prior to working with Entercom Communications. His career in radio includes stints as Program Director for many stations across the country including WOMX in Orlando and KHMX in Houston. Pat also served as Weather anchor at KCAU-TV, ABC affiliate in Sioux City, Iowa and a consultant for Zapoleon Media Strategies, in Houston, TX.
