Objective:

Responsibilities:
Assist the Promotion Department with daily activities such as: on-air contesting, database management, and the coordination/execution of station remote broadcasts, appearances, and charitable community events.

Qualifications:
Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn
Solid writing and computer skills
Commitment of 10 to 15 hours per week

Special Requirements:
Reliable transportation necessary.
Ability to work weekends for assistance at station promotions, as needed.
Be a college student receiving college credit.

Part-Time

Public Relations Representative
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Responsible for coordination and execution of station remote broadcasts, appearances and charitable community events.
2. Conduct station giveaways and distribute client/station promotional materials.
3. Take photos and conduct client/listener interviews for facilitation of remote recaps.
4. Actively interact with listeners and clients.
5. Drive station vehicles to client locations or events.
6. Represent Company and radio stations in a highly respectable and professional manner.

Qualifications:
1. Prior customer service experience, preferably in promotions.
2. Background in communications and marketing helpful.
3. Must be highly motivated, creative, and able to work independently.
4. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Job Description:

Senior Program Director Responsibilities:
1. Senior Program Director for 5 station cluster, reporting to and assisting Operations Manager with cluster programming management.

2. Strategic planning assistance for all 5 stations in the area of marketing, imaging, digital strategy and execution, event strategy and execution, music and talent coaching.

3. Work with station Program Directors on strategic planning and execution on the stations they program.

4. Lead group content development meetings (multi-platform - on air and digital) on an ongoing basis.

5. Ability to understand Arbitron research, Maximizer data and Music/Perceptual Research and to create implementation strategies based on data.

WCMF Program Director Responsibilities:

1. Hiring and management of WCMF station personalities.

2. Making sure every programming and promotions person on this station understand brand strategy/strengths, target’s lifestyle and how they can personally influence listening.

3. Weekly identification of necessary data ensuring station is in line with Brand strategy.

4. Keep station current and relevant while staying on strategy including updating station imaging and creating contesting which reinforces brand uniqueness.

5. Proactively help to create sales opportunities, develop strategies to enhance listener experience getting a win for both advertising client and listener.

6. Help develop and manage the multi-platform strategy forcing listeners to shop within our brand; maximizing web, event, on-air elements.

7. To coach and mentor on-air talent to maximize their show ratings, focusing on show prep, gaining buy-in of personalities to grow and develop techniques within their own personal style.

Qualifications:
1. Prior Program Director and On-air experience required
2. Classic Rock/Rock experience preferred.
3. Experience in multi-formats including Top 40 and Country preferred.
4. Prior morning show talent coaching experience preferred.
5. Must be highly motivated, and able to work independently.

Compensation:

Account Manager
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Responsible for selling commercial air time and event sponsorships for local businesses on Entercom’s 4 radio stations
2. Responsible for advertising campaign development including: Strategic marketing concepts, radio script development, promotional idea generation by coordinating the marketing and promotions people and resources available at Entercom.
3. Project Management of the execution of all advertising and promotional campaigns sold.
4. Develop and/or increase client base through prospecting, cold calls, client presentations.
5. Supervise collection of accounts receivables within a reasonable period of time for campaigns sold.
6. Represent Entercom in a highly ethical and professional manner.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in outside sales and media sales required.
3. Must be highly motivated, and able to work independently.

Compensation:
Negotiated guaranteed salary for training period of 3 months. Then a draw plus commission pay structure. Benefits package that includes health care, vacation, sick pay and 401(k)

Job description: Operating the audio control console for live broadcasts. Must have a flexible schedule, and be available nights and weekends. Ability to handle pressure environment while multi-tasking is essential. Experience not necessary, but interest in radio career and superior customer service skills are a big plus.
