Energy-Efficient Lighting Program
Each market conducted a lighting assessment, implemented a comprehensive change-out program replacing incandescent bulbs with CFL or LED lighting, and developed systems to reduce energy consumption.Paper Saving Systems
All Entercom markets use only 100% post consumer recycled paper and have changed printing methods to utilize PDF files, e-faxing, and e-invoicing to reduce paper use.Recycling

Entercom Personality Receives Environmental HonorVirginia Beach, Va. (October 21, 2011) - Entercom Norfolk radio station, 95-7 R&B (WVKL), morning show producer and personality, "Cocoa Butter" (aka. Tonya Riddick), was presented with an Environmental Award today from "Keep Norfolk Beautiful" - a program of the Norfolk Environmental Commission (NEC), a non-profit organization and a branch of the City of Norfolk Department of Public Works. Cocoa, who volunteers her time to neighborhood and city-wide cleanups, litter prevention, cleaning the Chesapeake Bay, city waste reductions and beautifying and preserving Norfolk's green and public spaces, was honored for her environmental stewardship.
The award Cocoa received features a picture of the Willoughby Oak - the third largest tree in the state of Virginia and a living reminder of why preserving the Earth is so vital to our present and our future. Commenting on the award, Entercom Norfolk's Vice President and Market Manager, Bennett Zier, stated, "I am extremely proud of Cocoa Butter and all of her efforts to better the world in which we live. She is a great illustration of Entercom's commitment to the environment. We can all do at least 1 Thing to live a greener life."
